Hello Boys

V Sit

Once you understand the pole sit you can begin working on this move. Take it slow and if it bothers your hand/wrist then come back to it when you have gained more strength. Sometimes you may need to adjust the positioning of the top hand.

Strengthens: Latissimus, Trapezius, Rhomboids, Biceps, Abdominals, Hip Flexors, Quadraceps
ginger78 - I've got the basics of this move but my hand gets stuck under my ample backside, basically I'm stuck on my thumb. Not a pretty sight.

StudioVeena - hehe..try sitting a bit farther back on the forearm, this will also keep the girly bits off the pole :)

Jag5303 - How come I keep bruising my tailbone area when coming back into a pole sit from this? My lady bits are never touching it,really. Is it just because it's a new trick to me, and I have to get that area use to pressure there?

StudioVeena - You need to sit farther back on the forearm. :)

CrystalCici - Hello, I keep tilting towards whatever arm I put underneath me so when I open my legs for the "V" it's more like halfway towards a greater than or less than sign. My arms are very double jointed like they can turn 360 degrees all the way around ; as a result of this my elbows naturally rest in facing down position even when my palms are flat on the ground. Could this be the cause of my tilting?

StudioVeena - It could be, I would have to see you trying this move. You may want to avoid this move altogether if you are very double jointed.
